SNF’s Global Health Initiative (GHI) grant to Athens Evangelismos General Hospital provides for the renovation of two Intensive Care Units as well as the Emergency Department.
The project, undertaken in partnership with the Athanasios and Marina Martinou Foundation, covers the renovation of spaces for 32 ICU beds in the 2nd Intensive Care Unit and the former Heart attack Unit in the Pateras Wing of the Hospital. These are in addition to the 20 ICU beds already added through SNF’s Global Relief Initiative for the COVID-19 Pandemic.
